A major partner for the workshops in Sorel-Tracy: Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium

Thanks to a partnership with Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium – Operations Quebec, the Hôtel-Dieu de Sorel Foundation, as well as the CISSS de la Montérégie-Est, two-hour workshops will be offered to ten teenagers and eight adults from Sorel-Tracy throughout the year.

For the members of the Les Impatients organization in Sorel-Tracy, it was important to acknowledge the financial contribution of Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium – Operations Quebec to this project. In this spirit, we inaugurated a symbolic plaque on October 18th, 2023, together with representatives of the organization, at the Sorel-Tracy Les Impatients workshop space.

This partnership allows Les Impatients of Sorel-Tracy to continue fulfilling their mission, which is to assist individuals with mental health issues through artistic expression by offering creation workshops that promote interaction with the community through the dissemination of works produced in the workshops.

Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium – Operations Quebec is committed to the cause of mental health.
