Tom Buckley

Tom Buckley was a participant in the Pointes-aux-Trembles workshops in the early 2000s. Living in Greenfield Park, he had formed a small group with two other men from the area who came to the workshops.

Tom Buckley’s production is strongly marked by his love of sport. His recurring themes are golf, baseball and hockey. He realizes each of his works with stencils that he repeats in a very orderly way. He begins by drawing the shape with a black marker, then colors them with color markers. In addition to sport-related objects, Tom Buckley draws many geometric forms of bright colors, always with the same orderly layout and medium economy. His titles are very important. They are an integral part of the work and often allow us to understand the work.
