PMA Repentigny wraps up 2nd edition on a high note

Thanks to the support of artists, buyers and donors, Les Impatients raised over $35,000 during the Parle-moi d’amour Repentigny exhibition-encan, held from February 25 to March 12 at the Centre d’art Diane-Dufresne.

This very special edition was made possible thanks to the collaboration of accompanying artists Mylène Samson and Marilyne Bissonnette in organizing the event, and to the involvement of the members of the honorary committee: Émilie Coallier, Nicolas Dufour, Katrine Courtemanche, Annie Plante, Marie-Andrée Beauchemin, Jean-François Hallé & Nancy Pellerin. We’d also like to thank event spokesperson Julie Beauchemin and artist sponsor Michael A. Robinson for their invaluable contributions.

Here are some figures from the last edition:

– 80 works, including 21 from Impatients
– 40 participating professional artists
– Over 400 people at the opening
– Over 70 people at the live auction
– Over 500 visitors to the exhibition
– 439 uploads

The funds raised by the exhibition-auction contribute significantly to the quality of the workshops offered free of charge to participants from Lanaudière and Repentigny, in areas that are often underserved for people struggling with mental health issues.
