Parle-moi d'amour Montreal - Les Impatients

Parle-moi d'amour Montreal

Les Impatients are pleased to invite you to the 26th edition of the Parle-moi d’amour Montréal exhibition-auction, which will take place this year at the Agora of the Cœur des sciences at UQÀM (175 President-Kennedy Avenue), from November 1 to 13, 2024.

Presented by Loto-Québec, this artistic event will feature over 300 artworks by participants of Les Impatients’ workshops, professional artists, and donations from private collections. From November 1 to 13, visitors can participate in the silent auction on the Macause website. The public will be invited to bid on each artwork in the exhibition, and the event will culminate in a live auction hosted by the experienced Laurent E. Berniard. During the two-week event, attendees can also immerse themselves in the world of Les Impatients by visiting a listening lounge within the exhibition, which will feature testimonies from workshop participants. The public will also be invited to take part in the Complicité créative evening on Saturday, November 9 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., where attendees’ creative abilities and desire to share around art and mental health will be encouraged.

For over 31 years, the organization has been immensely grateful to the artists who support the cause and contribute to demystifying mental health issues. This year, Heidi Spector & Michel de Broin will serve as the event’s patrons. Longtime collaborators with Les Impatients, these two artists use a mix of different techniques in their work. The 2024 edition will also highlight works from renowned artists and collectors such as Mephisto Bates, Paul Béliveau, Dan Brault, Jason Cantoro, Olivier Charland, Karine Demers, Jean-Sébastien Denis, René Derouin, Clémence Desrochers, Monserrat Duran Muntadas, Eliane Excoffier, Emily Filler, Valérie Gobeil, Jean Goguen, Felix Gonzales-Torres, Michel Goulet, Suzanne Joubert, Massimo Guerrera, Chris Kline, Peter Krausz, Mathieu Lacroix, Miville, Guido Molinari, Caroline Monnet, Rebecca Munce, Julie Ouellet, Yann Pocreau, Robert Racine, Jean Paul Riopelle, Marc Seguin, and Rafael Sottolichio.
