{"id":13813,"date":"2025-03-20T15:20:48","date_gmt":"2025-03-20T19:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/impatients.ca\/?p=13813"},"modified":"2025-03-20T15:21:30","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T19:21:30","slug":"pma-repentigny-wraps-up-2nd-edition-on-a-high-note","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/impatients.ca\/en\/pma-repentigny-wraps-up-2nd-edition-on-a-high-note\/","title":{"rendered":"PMA Repentigny wraps up 2nd edition on a high note"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to the support of artists, buyers and donors, Les Impatients raised over <strong>$35,000<\/strong> during the <strong><em>Parle-moi d&#8217;amour Repentigny<\/em><\/strong> exhibition-encan, held from <strong>February 25 to March 12<\/strong> at the <strong>Centre d&#8217;art Diane-Dufresne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This very special edition was made possible thanks to the collaboration of accompanying artists <strong>Myl\u00e8ne Samson<\/strong> and <strong>Marilyne Bissonnette<\/strong> in organizing the event, and to the involvement of the members of the honorary committee: <strong>\u00c9milie Coallier, Nicolas Dufour, Katrine Courtemanche, Annie Plante, Marie-Andr\u00e9e Beauchemin, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Hall\u00e9 <\/strong>&amp;<strong> Nancy Pellerin<\/strong>. We&#8217;d also like to thank event spokesperson <strong>Julie Beauchemin<\/strong> and artist sponsor <strong>Michael A. Robinson<\/strong> for their invaluable contributions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some figures from the last edition:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong> 80 works<\/strong>, including <strong>21 from Impatients<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>40<\/strong> participating professional artists<br \/>\n&#8211; Over <strong>400 people<\/strong> at the <strong>opening<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Over <strong>70 people<\/strong> at the live <strong>auction<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Over <strong>500 visitors<\/strong> to the <strong>exhibition<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>439 uploads<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The funds raised by the exhibition-auction contribute significantly to the quality of the workshops offered free of charge to participants from Lanaudi\u00e8re and Repentigny, in areas that are often underserved for people struggling with mental health issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to the support of artists, buyers and donors, Les Impatients raised over $35,000 during the Parle-moi d&#8217;amour Repentigny exhibition-encan, held from February 25 to March 12 at the Centre d&#8217;art Diane-Dufresne.
